Our work helped define The Outnet brand through refining its newly presented brand structure and helping to forge a more meaningful engagement with its consumer. We drew on The Outnet's existing brand cues, which has been defined by the client's stakeholders, as well as consumer perceptions of The Outnet. Merging the client's internal vision with the consumer’s views allowed us to establish a distinct perspective in international fashion for the brand, and ensure relevance for its specific audience.
SCB Partners has acted as a strategic research partner for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, providing crucial insights into customer perceptions as the company seeks to expand across Europe, and across specific new sites, such as the forthcoming Westfield Croydon and its new residential developments in White City and Stratford City. Each project has seen our team analyse the views and requirements of various customers – enabling the company to gain clarity on high-level decisions involving future centre design, retail tenant choices, centre programming and other civic-building initiatives – furthering Westfield’s position as the leader in retail malls.
As part of a multi-market expansion, global beer giant Budweiser sought to deeply root its brand within nightlife in Tel Aviv and Abidjan, aiming to authentically build a grassroots position in the city. SCB Partners consultants spent a week in each city, connecting and interviewing leading nightlife influencers and instigators, and attending key venues and events, to develop a deep understanding of the market and its consumer. The resulting strategy enabled Budweiser to rapidly gain traction in the cities and activate using local partners and venues.
SCB Partners has worked with Samsung’s dedicated design division for the past few years to help this team investigate specific research briefs and forecast future opportunities for their mobile and television businesses. Through in-depth ethnography with leading edge consumers and interviews with notable industry thought leaders, we have built rigorous projections for the organisation’s internal trends team and designers, which have helped to spark and guide their initial ideas, prototypes and planning.
